We’d love to have you join us in the Wild West Days Parade tomorrow morning (November 4).
It’s one of our favorite events of the year. Our cowboy worship band will play tunes along the route. The float representing our “old western church building” will have plenty of room for riders to join us. As always, we’ll 1,000 candy gifts to give away along the route, so we can use as many walkers as possible. Best of all, we should have several horses and riders to escort us along the way. (It’s not too late to bring your horse; just meet us at the site.)
It’s a lot of fun and, most importantly, a great way to show our town that we love being a part of the Cave Creek community — one of the few towns in America that can boast a church which makes its home in a saloon! (Creekers never were very conventional, anyway.)
We just received our parade number. We are number 34 out of 50 entrants. The lineup begins south of Oregano’s Pizza Bistro, and extends down Cave Creek toward the Wagon Wheel. Park anywhere nearby, and join our group as it gathers in space 34. Plan to arrive around 8:30 a.m. The parade begins at 9:00.
And don’t forget: This Sunday is Breakfast at the Chip. Don’t miss it! The weather will be beautiful, and I’m looking forward to spending the morning with you singing some great cowboy songs of worship, and teaching from the Book which is as relevant today as it was when it was first written.
God bless you,
